Produce sub standard. Usually no sanitary wipes for carts, bags missing in produce depth. I do not buy meat from them also. Other stores have higher quality meat. Since Kroger introduced, store has even went downhill more. Products I used to buy not available.

Lots of different products to pick from. Shelves are usually stocked well and the store is clean.

They carry a wide variety of produce and it's usually very fresh and of good quality. I love that the salad bar often has dogmas! The deli is pretty standard as far as a Pick n Save deli goes. The seafood department is great and the staff is very helpful. I love that I can get cooked crawdads without having to buy a box of them. It's a far cry from what i'm used to but still yummy. I wish they had a bell because there isn't always someone behind the meat/seafood department counter.

My main gripe is that you have to walk through the produce/deli/bakery/meat & seafood departments to get to the rest of the store. That's a real pain if you forget something in produce as there is no cut through from the main store area. That was a very poor design choice.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with this store. They just make it more difficult than it needs to be for a quick trip.

I used to leave Pick n Save feeling like I got what I paid for. Not anymore. They have resorted to using the Kohl's Department store technique of marking up regular prices to ridiculous levels than putting them "on sale." Does anybody really feel like they got a 50% off deal from a bag of six bagels where the original price was over six dollars?

All my old standards- Roundies boneless skinless chicken breasts, Morningstar Farms products, Banquet Turkey sausage and more have all been jacked up to the point where I feel like I am being "taken" whenever I buy them.

I also don't like the deliberate strategy in making you walk all the way through the store in order to get to the front where the registers are.

Pick n Save is never lacking in their gimmicky promotions. Monolpoly for instance- a waste of time. Tedious pealing, searching and sticking of stockers, many of which are duplicates within the first few trips. How about instead of running distracting promotions, use that money to keep prices down and pass the savings on to the customers?

They are lucky their only real competition is Piggly Wiggly which is only one smaller grocery store and Aldis which exists in a completely different category. If a store like Woodman's ever showed up, they would be in big trouble.
